"Live" Communicator was created by IC Interactive Communications Corporation (ICC). Our Company was incorporated in 2004 to develop and sell an effective Internet based communication tool with Voice and Video.

A subsidiary company ABC Interactive Learning Corporation (ILC) www.interactivelearning.ca was incorporated in 2001. The original mandate of ILC was to provide consumers English as a Second Language (ESL) learning material in print and electronic form. When the Voice and Video Technology was discovered and adapted to the delivery of ESL, the Company was able to build a platform for learning that extends well beyond the original concept scope. ILC is now responsible for operating the delivery engine for MyTutor.ca www.mytutor.ca an innovative tutoring web site that connects teachers with learners around the world. The engine for MyTutor.ca is the "Live" Communicator and its various applications available for license as "Live" Tutor.

The Founder and President of the Companies is Mr. Gary Gumley, who has been involved in start-up entrepreneurial companies focusing on learning technologies for the past 25 years.

"Live" Communicator is a product that utilizes existing technology infrastructure to add a vibrant level of interaction between people throughout the world at a very cost effective price point. Our technology adds value to existing web sites and communications strategies by enabling "live" voice and video connectivity over the Internet. All that is required is a headset, a microphone and a web camera. The technology is available through a downloadable executable program, which permits registered members to access various components of the software. The focus of the product is to promote one to one "Live" Communication and to facilitate sharing of documents and ideas in real time.

The technology facilitates "Live" communication in a peer-to-peer, private and confidential environment that is simple to install and flexible to use on a 24x7 basis.
The technology can be used from home, the office, or on the road wherever a Broadband connection is available.
While the technology lends itself best to one on one communication, the peer-to-peer connection has also been used for small groups of up to four people to communicate simultaneously.
The technology provides access to other computer functions for sending files, composing e-mails and browsing the Internet.
The technology provides access to White Board for a "real-time" review of promotional material and sales presentations using MS PowerPoint.

Application sharing facilitates easy review and discussion of advertising layouts and pictures or corporate documents and spreadsheets from a variety of software applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and Acrobat reader.
